i am using this snow thrower an a new holland 29D. the 60" size is probably perfect. the machine arrived in a steel packing crate made of a light gauge steel pallet and angle iron frame with a shrink wrap cover. packaging was well done. assembly instruction may as well be non-existant. as with many asian made products, assembly instructions do not translate well and the pictures were to dark to see much. if you consider yourself very handy with tools and mechanical things, the assembly will take 60min. to 90min. if you are not handy, be prepared to call a friend who enjoys challenges. do let any of this scare you because the reward is a pretty nice machine at a very reasonable cost. i live in the four corners and generally by this time we have had two or three snows with 3 ft. drifts. so far only two snows of about 8 inches and 16 inch drifts. my mostly gravel drive is 2000ft.long and that was no challenge for the machine. i dont think a 3 ft. drift will be a challenge, may have to go a little slower, but so far i am more than pleased. for the price i dont think you can go wrong. dave
