I like the boat and it skims the pool and does a great job picking up leaves, etc. The quality of the product is a problem. The battery gets very hot when charging and and can burn your hand, so be careful. It does not last as long as the write up says. Only get about 1/2 hour of use. May have a bad one, but will let the seller tell me and see if they stand behind product.

How I wish I had had the sense to do it years ago. Its only flaw is that every so often a large leaf from a nearby magnolia tree gets caught between one of the drive wheels and the body and stops it from moving. Pentair SuperFlo 230V TwoSpeed Pool Pump, 1.5 HP UL NSF Listed Review

So far so good with this pump. I installed it a week ago and I am pleased with the performance. The 2 speed feature is great. My current draw is fractional as compared to the 1.5HP Jacuzzi motor I was using.

The pump is very quite but especially when it is on low speed, you literally have to look at the filter basket or the skimmer at the pool to even know it's running. I was a little surprised the base of the motor is plastic and not steel, but at least at this point I am not anticipating problems with that. The base is 3/4" thick so I would not expect it to break. I only used 2 bolts to secure it to my pad vs the 4 holes but there is very little stress that would cause the base to fail.

You'll notice I gave it four stars instead of five. The reason for this is because the wiring diagram on the motor casing is poorly drawn. The motor comes from the factory hard wired for high speed even though it has a toggle switch for the 2 speed function. No where in the installation/user manual is there any reference what so ever to the wiring of the motor which is fine given that the wiring diagram is printed on the motor casing. However, the diagram is poorly drawn to indicate how the switch is to be wired--I had to figure it out myself.

In conclusion, after 1 week of use I feel I am going to be pleased with this pump. There are so many pumps to choose from, how can you pick the right one? I did as much research as I could and I landed on the Pentair Super Flo 1.5 HP 2-Speed Pool Pump. If you choose to go this way I hope you will be happy as well.

Swim Time Rugged Steel 24-Feet Round 52-Inch Deep Metal Wall Swimming Pool Package Review

I bought this pool in-spite of the other comment. I put this pool together with my 13 and 16 year old. The hardest part was the ground work being I don't have a level lot. But the pool went together easily, yes it takes time to assemble. I suggest watching the video that comes with it as it adds to the instructions. The pictures here on Amazon are a little misleading. It shows a picture of a ladder but the pool does not come with one. I still need to buy a ladder and it was the only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. If it had the ladder I would have gave it a 5 out of 5 star rating.
