A snow pusher that works is a great idea. Unfortunately, this one snapped off at the handle on its second run. The problem, according to the manufacturer, was that the plastic shafts get brittle in the cold. Since it's most likely to be cold when shoveling or pushing snow is required, I'd call this a pretty serious short-cut on materials. And they mean it when they say "for light and fluffy snow." This does well on a flat, paved surface with a couple of inches of downy snow. But so would a broom--at a fraction of the price. Also, assembly instructions would have helped.

True Temper Arctic Blast 1641200 18-Inch Lift-Rite Aluminum Snow Shovel Review

I live in Wisconsin so snows can be deep and heavy. I have a nice big snowblower so I don't use a shovel as the primary snow removal tool, but I use it often enough when the snow plows bury the end of my driveway that I wanted something with some durability.

The shovel this replaces also had the ergonomic handle (a must for all shovels I think) but was hard plastic with the steel wear strip on the bottom. So this one is a step above being all metal.

I wish the sides were scooped up some so the shovel was more of a bowl shape to keep snow from sliding off the sides as you use it, but that's about the only thing lacking in the design.

Nice solid feel, with a "save your back" handle - it should work out fine.

After our first snowfall, I found out that this shovel really only deserved one star... The ergonomic bend in the handle is far too shallow so you still end up bending over too much. And the wear strip on the bottom is about the worst i've ever experienced (and living in Wisconsin or Germany my whole life, I've used many shovels). It makes it very difficult to smoothly push the shovel along concrete. Also, I was disappointed to find this shovel at the local brick and mortar for just $14 when I went to buy a better shovel that was better...

WARN 73860 Snow Plow Power Pivot Review

I have a long driveway, about half a mile, on steep terrain. I bought the power pivot because I'm always getting off my ATV to change blade angles.

Installation was fairly easy. I had an older plow and had to drill the bolt holes out where the plow's current pivot is attached. This was not difficult. The bolt pattern was quite tight so I ended up drilling the holes a bit oversize. Attaching the relay and switch went smoothly although this is a fairly big job since I had to remove the front cowling to route wires and find a mounting place for the relay. Once all the wires are mounted the plow can be detached via a waterproof plug (no cover is provided for keeping the connector clean when detached however).

In operation the pivot works nicely. There is quite a bit of slack in the gear box so it takes a few moments for it to move the plow in the opposite direction. I haven't called Warn yet to see if this is intentional or not. It doesn't affect the operation of the plow - that is the blade stays where I set it. I've used the plow for some time now and in a variety of conditions - icy snow, wet snow, soft snow, slush. I plow pretty fast so it definitely sees a workout. The manual states that the angle can be changed while plowing. I've tried this and it works as advertised. The motor is plenty strong.

I gave the product four stars as the slack in the gear box is a bit annoying however I really like having the device and would certainly recommend it.

My gas blower wasn't working so I bought this to use until I got it fixed and as a back up. It can move snow well. The only issue I found out that since it's not self propelled it still requires quite a bit of effort to push it through the snow. I guess I'm spoiled by my self propelled electric.
