With the WARN Snow Plow Power Pivot you can rotate your plow blade up to 25 degrees at the push of a button, and without having to get up from your vehicle's seat. A powerful electric motor and durable 4-stage planetary geartrain lets you move a load, even while plowing. The unique locking design isolates the geartrain preventing slippage and creep under load. Plus, when necessary, the blade can still be positioned manually. The Power-Pivot will fit any WARN ATV standard plow system. You will need a winch for plow lifting in order to use this product.

I have a long driveway, about half a mile, on steep terrain. I bought the power pivot because I'm always getting off my ATV to change blade angles.

Installation was fairly easy. I had an older plow and had to drill the bolt holes out where the plow's current pivot is attached. This was not difficult. The bolt pattern was quite tight so I ended up drilling the holes a bit oversize. Attaching the relay and switch went smoothly although this is a fairly big job since I had to remove the front cowling to route wires and find a mounting place for the relay. Once all the wires are mounted the plow can be detached via a waterproof plug (no cover is provided for keeping the connector clean when detached however).

In operation the pivot works nicely. There is quite a bit of slack in the gear box so it takes a few moments for it to move the plow in the opposite direction. I haven't called Warn yet to see if this is intentional or not. It doesn't affect the operation of the plow - that is the blade stays where I set it. I've used the plow for some time now and in a variety of conditions - icy snow, wet snow, soft snow, slush. I plow pretty fast so it definitely sees a workout. The manual states that the angle can be changed while plowing. I've tried this and it works as advertised. The motor is plenty strong.

I gave the product four stars as the slack in the gear box is a bit annoying however I really like having the device and would certainly recommend it.
