Precision Therapy - Portable Far Infrared Sauna with Foot Pad and Negative Ion - Large Review

It's pretty nifty, really, for a low cost carbon fiber sauna.
Heats up very fast, and reasonable quality materials, easy as pie set up and take down. I was a little disappointed that the girl didn't come with it [heh heh, just kidding] but no, really, my only complaints are:
[1] my lower legs & feet stay nice a cool as a cucumber. The heating panels don't go all the way to the floor and since heat rises, and FIR heating is more a directional thing, instead of heating the air - well, you have a fairly sharp temperature division between the upper & lower atmosphere of this thing.

[2] unless you are comfortable sitting in/on anything, anywhere, you might be like me, and HATE sitting in the little chair that comes with it. No back support to speak of. It's downright excruciating for me, having all sorts of back issues and what not. I have nothing else that's comfortable that would fit in here, so I add a few towels in certain ways to make it almost bearable.

Incidentally, I've had my eye on one of them FAR/FIR wood saunas that run $1000 & up, but after the sitting ordeals in this unit, it's taught me I don't want to sit in anything, especially the wonderfully cushy body contoured flat wood benches in the larger wood suanas.
I'll be abandoning this thing soon when I get one of the 'sauna blankets' you can lay down in.

Other than that, 1 other tip. If at first you don't sweat [I didn't] you may just need time to get your pores open. After about 5 sessions of 20-25 min. each, I started to sweat - still only my upper body - but it shows that your body has to kind of 'get into it' gradually, if you haven't done much sweating in awhile.

I gave 4 stars instead or 2-3, because what's good about it is really good and people without back problems [now that you've been warned, or who are less sensitive may find nothing to complain about.

Raypak 406K Btu Natural Gas Pool Heater Millivolt -( Pr406Mn (009195) , Raypak ) Review

After reading the other review that was so negative I had to write my own so that everyone has another view of this great heater. First of all, in regard to the very negative review concerning service, I do not have an opinion on how good or bad Raypak service is because I've never had to call them! It does say in the manual that you have to keep your water levels balanced or damage may occur. I would like to imagine your water levels would have to be VERY bad to actually affect this unit, such as very high acidity/low ph. If it leaks, then likely a header gasket is bad or main/return connections are bad, OR, a faulty install all together and it overheated resulting in a cracked heat exchanger, OR bad freeze protection circuit (which is not the responsibility of Raypak, it is a unit that kicks on the water pump for those that don't know) and the heatexchanger cracked from being frozen with water in it. Just my two cents.

As far as I'm concerned Raypak makes a really great pool heater. I just replaced a nearly 20yr old Raypak with a new Raypak 406k and absolutely love it! It is still one of the easiest to hook into a compool or aqualink control system, digital interface with precise target temp control (unlike a millivolt unit that is hard to dial in your temp with any accuracy). My father replaced his Raypak about a year before I did and his was about 17yrs old. His unit stays in direct sunlight while mine is always under shade, not sure if that is why I got extra years or not. I talked my brother in-law into replacing his 4yr old extremely troublesome and expensive Teledyne Laars with a Raypak, going on 8yrs now and not a single problem. I would give this product 10 stars if I could to offset the very unfair 1 star that the other guy left over a service dispute that was likely his fault to begine with, or perhaps a bad apple, either way Raypak is worth more than 1 star in my opinion.

We should have read more about it before installing. We did know that none of the installation hardware was not included but with Lowe's right down the street we bought some hooks and turnbuckles for about $25-30.
In order to get the middle to not sag you have to stretch it pretty tight so add a foot or two onto the dimensions. Had we of known it was that bad we would have went smaller and bought some chain to extend the corners that extra few inches.
Product is great though, our bad foresight caused us to have to rethink how we were gonna hang it.

This is a very nice sturdy pool volleyball set. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 for two reasons. First it was different from the one pictured. I previously had the one pictured and it lasted a long time and I was expecting the same one. Second it was shipped with the wrong parts bag. We called the help line and the person we spoke to was very helpful and sent the correct parts.
Overall it is well made and we are happy with it.
