Well, we haven't had much snow this year but the Heat Trak has melted it quickly. The thermostat comes on about 32F and shuts off at 45C. I don't have to be home or awake to turn it on. I just wish there was an easier way to turn it on/off when it's bitter cold but no snow. Maybe a switch for the outlet??
