Got to use it for the first time this morning. Had 5" of fresh powder last night. With dry snow this unit worked like a champ. Clearly doesn't have the power of a more expensive gas blower but easily cleared my driveway with fresh snow. Used later in the morning to do some cleanup. By now the snow was wetter with slush underneath and the thrower started to clog up in the thrower tower. Easy fix was to carry to small dowel to knock the snow loose and keep going. For my purposes of cleaning a small driveway and sidewalk I'd recommend this unit but don't expect too much. I suspect that when I get wet snow later in the season it won't work as well but still better than shoveling. The small foot print makes it easy to store in the garage.
