The engine is the Briggs Stratton 800 snow series and includes synthetic oil for easier starting. Just used this to deal with the Snowpocalypse in the northeast that landed last night. Had no issues getting through a blanket of snow that's 34" deep (and that isn't counting the drifts). Worse part was having to stop to add more fuel and then pump up the tires a bit--recommend the Murray snow blowers to anyone who has the potential to get a significant amount of snow. Also handled the 5" of wintery snow/slush mix a month ago as well. Great piece of machinery.
