I picked up a 11' Flat Snowmobile Trailer with Splash Guard. I figured it would be no big deal to park after getting used to my 20' Boat trailer these last couple years. I was WRONG. Backing up the shorter snowmobile trailer, while not being able to see the corners due to the splash guard was hard for me. I searched the web for some solution and there was nothing out there as a straight up snowmobile trailer accessory.

Finally a friend suggested snowplow guides. I looked local first and all they had were 18" guides. So, I picked up these 36" guides online here at Amazon and they work great.

I mounted them 1' from the end so that when the trailer is tilted they won't get in the way of loading the snowmobile. They are highly visible from the vehicle, and they may even be higher than the sleds when loaded (not tried yet). I have a tight spot to put this trailer and now I can guide the ends in easily.

I used a step down drill to 5/16".
I put Nylon Washer/Washer combo on inside to keep bolt head off alum trailer.
I put galvanized washer on outside between the post and the alum trailer.
Bolt is 5/16" with 1" head.
