We use a top of the line Parker industrial hydraulics package as the heart of this kit. Dual hydraulic cylinders make quick work of turning the blade and holding it fast when hitting even the biggest snowbanks. It is even relief valve protected for when you really need it. Easy thumbswitch operation piggybacks to your winch switch on the handlebars. No major modifications required to install. This kit simply bolts to your current push tube and blade. After 10 years+ of plowing with the 4 wheeler Moose County Plow and having to get off and on the wheeler a minimum of about 20 times to manually change the plow angle each time while plowing our extended driveway, this unit is a most welcome addition! Although the write up states it fits all Moose Plows except for the new RM3 system, when we got the kit it was missing the two hydraulic hoses and fittings and furthermore the main push tube bracket for mounting the rear of the cylinders to the push tubes would not fit... My wheeler / Moose plow is about 10 years old and apparently somewhere over the years Moose changed the dimensions of the push tubes.. I contacted Fuse-Powersports, where the kit was sent from and they offered to send me the updated push tubes at no extra cost. Of course along with the missing hoses and fittings. Just got the parts and removed the old push tubes and with a little jimmy rigging got the new push tubes to fit my existing mounting bracket under my wheeler. The rest of the kit went together pretty well and after filling the pump with fluid and doing the air bleeding the plow turned just as it was supposed to... We had just got about 3+ inches of new snow and gave it a try... What a pleasure to use!!! Took probably half the time to clear the driveway than it used to.. Never had to get off the wheeler once... The only slight drawback, other than the price, is the pump motor moves the blade pretty slow but still better than the alternative.. Not sure about the lonterm durability of the kit yet but at first try it was GREAT! If the cost of the kit scares you as it did me at first, the convenience it affords and the added pleasure of plowing snow more than makes up for the cost in my opinion.. Kathy's husband...
