So I have gone through two other pumps for my above ground index pool to get a pool sweeper to work and to have enough water flow for my heater. This one finally did with 1 1/2 horse power. Everything just didn't have the suction especially the index one even though they said they would. Very happy and so is my pool. Only rated it 4 stars just because it is so big.
