Use this with a vac head and hose as well as net to keep the pool clean. Fits regular pool accessories. Really like the outer locking design rather than the old inner lock design. This lock lets you put one hand on each half of the twist lock for 100% control every time. If you ever had a pole where you kept twisting one pole inside the other and it would not lock, you will like this design better.

Would have given it 5 stars, but for two issues: 1) The pole is thinner gage aluminum than I expected. I know eventually the kids will dent it and that will be the end of the pole collapsing closed. So far almost one full season and its holding up OK. 2) Other poles I owned had a small piece of foam in the handle so if the pole was dropped in the pool, the handle end would bob at the surface. This pole has no floatation and will sink to the bottom. It will float for a minute or so until all the air escapes, then it sinks.

I am pleased overall with the product and would probably buy again if I need another.
