My old solar water heater that hooked inline to my pump took up tons of extra room, was always getting holes, and never really heated the water in my 25' above ground pool very much.

I replaced it with the Midwest Canvas Space Age Solar Cover 3 months ago and its made all the difference in the world! It keeps evaporation down, keeps dirt and leaves out of my filter, and best of all I was able to use my pool a month earlier because of how well it heats up the water during the day and keeps it warm over night! I have been able to consistently keep my pool temps in the 80's.

I would say one thing you want to look into getting if you get this (just like with any other pool cover) is a pool cover reel of some sort as it can be kind of annoying taking the cover off and on. Either way, the 21' cover I got is a perfect fit for my 25' pool as it gives a few feet of buffer on the outside so it lays fully flat and doesn't crease up around my ladder. If you dont have a pool cover or are looking for something less complicated to replace your solar heater, this is totally the way to go!
