I currently live in Alaska and I recently was able to use one of these snow claws during an Arctic survival training class. This small tool was amazing and allowed us to move an incredible amount of snow in a small amount of time with minimal effort. One of the requirements was to build a snow cave and those of us with the snow claws were able to move more snow than the people with shovels and were less tired for it, considering it was -26 Fahrenheit with high winds, that is a major plus. I love the design and utility of this product as it can be used as a seat, dinner plate, anchor and many more ways, plus the flexibility allows it to easily be strapped to a backpack (or inside it) or simply thrown in the car for emergencies. I would definitely suggest that anyone who has to travel in snowy conditions buy one of these inexpensive tools as it can easily be a life saver and makes digging out a snow stuck vehicle a breeze!
