A 9 X 18 foot pool is pretty much the largest pool my back yard can accommodate so this pool is perfect. We decided to go with the PRO Series for a few hundred more and am glad we did. We've owned a couple of these frame pools but this is very high quality. The frame seems to be very well constructed. The liner looks pretty tough. I like that it is tan outside and blue pattern on the inside. The skimmer system does very well and ours came with a vacuum that attaches to the pump to clean things that sink to the bottom.
The actual dimensions of the pool support frame footprint is approximately 12' X 21' which was important to me since I laid a patio block pad to put the pool on. In my case, the supports extended to the very end of the patio so I would have made my patio 12" longer on each side. Ours came with a ladder, but we upgraded to a A-Frame 7200 Above Ground Adjustable Pool Roll-Guard Safety Ladder which makes getting in and out a lot easier and much safer. I looks very nice and matches the pool color. I put carpet padding down on the patio and then the pool so there is a slight cushion and will hopefully protect the liner a little. I think some of the photos of this or similar pools are a little deceiving, showing the water at waste level. The models must be about 8' tall but probably photoshoped. I have 46" of water in mine and it comes up well over my belly button! I am really happy so far with the purchase. All together with the patio I've got about 2K invested, and a nice place to cool off. Just add a couple of floats!
