This filter was about half the price of my local pool store and so far so good. It filters the water well. Update: I use Baquacil in my pool and I don't know if this is why but I have been having to clean the filter every other day. It is really annoying. So, I ended up going to the local pool store and getting another filter. Cost me $120. But I know from experience it works well. Too bad. I had really hoped to save some money. Update 7.20.13: Turns out my filter system wasn't working properly. The expensive filter didn't work either! My pool turned into a mess. It's hopefully fixed now and both filters are working fine.
