Mighty Ergo Shovel Color: Yellow, Size: Long Review

I'm 5'8" tall. I would need to be 6'2 to be comfortable with this shovel. One reviewer guessed 5'10 and I thought I would be able to cut it down, but the way the connections are configured this is not possible. Credit should be given for the nice aluminum blade and the steel fittings that feel distinctly Chinese. I bought it to replace the second polyethylene shovel I broke on ice, but whoever considers this one ergonomic should actually try it out... No Way. And it's not just the length of the handle. The bend should be be much more gradual, like the one on a Garant. This, in my opinion, is a classic example of design that comes off a drawing board and nobody ever asks, "Hey, did you try it to see how it works?"

Rather than send it back, I took the handle off my broken Garant and screwed it into the new blade. Works great.
