The kit consists of a testing tube, packets of reagent, and a color chart. The minimum designation on the color chart is 200 parts per billion (ppb), and the maximum is 1000 ppb, and the chart has colored circles to match the scale provided, as well as blank circles used in the testing process.. To use the kit, you fill the tube to the line with the water to be tested, add the reagent granules from one of the small foil pouches, and mix for 60 seconds.
