I was so excited when I ordered my new robotic pool cleaner a year ago. It didn't take but about 5 minutes for me to start questioning the quality of this cleaner. From parts falling off and snapping off, to screws coming loose, this unit barely made it through the first year.

I noticed a few days ago, just a few weeks past my warranty expiring, that it was just sitting in the pool and not working. I pulled it out gently and began to examine it. Two of the three blades on the fan had broken off! What? It is in a protected area inside the unit. There is no way for debris to get in there. This was obviously a flawed design. Well to replace the fan, you have to replace the whole motor assembly. After shipping and handling, parts and labor... I might as well buy a new unit.

Did it clean? Yes - the first time I ran it after cleaning the filter, it would do a great job of cleaning the pool. After that, it would get a diminishing amount of the pool clean. You really have to clean the filter after every use or it just goes in smaller, and smaller circles while cleaning less and less of your pool.

Issues I have had with this cleaner:
1) Screws come loose during use and fall off.
2) The two floats inside have broken off
3) It is nearly impossible to get the filter out of this unit and back in without bloody knuckles and fingers
4) The cord becomes incredibly tangled and no amount of untwisting will return it to its original shape

This is the cheapest robotic cleaner on the market for a reason - it is the lowest quality. If you need something for a one year fix, then this should do the trick. Otherwise, spend a bit more and get a cleaner that will last.
